Arios Privacy Policy

This privacy policy illustrates the processing of personal data collected by the Arios application, in accordance with art. 13 of the Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 - decree regarding the protection of personal data - as well as of the European Regulation n. 679/2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

Arios is an application that allows its users to provide and receive remote assistance via audio and video communication involving the exchange of digital information placed in augmented reality ("Service").

2. Type of Data
2.1 Data provided by the User
Account data: Arios collects the personal data provided directly by the user when creating the user profile within the application, such as name, surname, e-mail and password.
The user may decide to add further information to his/her user profile, such as company name, profile picture and its online status (available/busy/offline).

Contents: Arios does not store the audio and video communications that take place within the application, or the exchange of digital information placed in augmented reality by its users.

Customer Assistance: the user agrees to provide Arios information regarding the use of the Service and the preferred ways to be contacted for:
- receiving additional information about the application, through the appropriate "Contact us" section;
- reporting malfunctions, failures and problems, through the appropriate " Help " section.

2.2. Data collected automatically
In order to provide the Service and according to the license agreement, Arios collects the following data: - audio and video streaming transmission via Twilio infrastructure;
- drawings and annotations made by the users, as well as information regarding the user profile that makes them; last login made by the user; date, time and duration of the communication and the users who participate; list of contacts added by the user; screen size of the device used and type of device .

In order to provide its service Arios uses the services offered by Google Firebase, which collects data relating to the user profile, such as e-mail and password, and connectivity, such as the IP address and crash reports.

3. Legal basis of the processing of personal data
The processing of the data collected by Arios is based on the user's consent, on the need to deliver the license agreement concluded with the user and to comply with legal obligations.

4. Purpose of the processing of personal data
Arios uses the data collected to provide the Service, including app updating, protection, troubleshooting and support. Furthermore, Arios uses the information collected to manage its business, comply with its contractual and legal obligations and protect the security of its systems and users.

5. Processing methods
The data collected by Arios is processed manually and automatically, in accordance with the principles of lawfulness and security of the processing. To prevent loss of data, the illegal or improper use of the Service and unauthorized access, specific security measures are deployed, in accordance with the provisions of the privacy regulations. It should be noted that, in compliance with the principles of minimization and limitation of storage , the collected data is stored on Google Firebase 's Twilio and iCloud infrastructures (GDPR compliance) , whose privacy policy is available on the websites:;

6. Data storage period
The data are stored for a period of time not exceeding what is strictly necessary to guarantee the delivery of the Service or until a request for cancellation by the user (cancellation of the account) is made, subject to the terms necessary for the legal protection.

7. Method of access and control of personal data
The user has the right, at any time , to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of their data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or rectification, as well as the right to request cancellation.
